1- Could you briefly introduce yourself : your company, your position, your responsibilities?

 

"NH TherAguix is a company that was founded in 2015. It is a French biotech, currently in clinical phase specialised in the development of innovative nano-drugs for the treatment of cancers by radiotherapy, in combination with our experimental treatment called AGuIX®.

I joined NHT 3 years ago, in January 2020, as Clinical Operations Manager. I follow up on the clinical trials we have in France as well as in the US."

2- For what type of need did you call upon CyberSecura? What was the trigger?

 

"We called upon CyberSecura to gain in compliance and competence with the appointment of a Data Protection Officer (DPO), as we did not have the internal resources to carry out these missions. The evolution of the regulations as well as the context in which we work (clinical trials, partnerships, etc.) are elements that we took into account when setting up this outsourced service."

3- Why did you choose to entrust these missions to CyberSecura rather than to another provider?
 

"We spoke to David Rozier, founder of CyberSecura. We also contacted several service providers and chose CyberSecura for the operations support that could be put in place, on the one hand because of its experience in the field and on the other because of the company's expertise in cybersecurity. Cybersecurity was not our priority need, but given the current situation, we thought that we could also benefit from this expertise at some point.

The proximity between our two companies is also a factor that we took into account when we chose CyberSecura, since at the beginning of the collaboration, our two companies were both based at the same address, in Inovallée (Meylan)."

4- Did you have any particular fears before setting up this project?

​

"We work in the health sector. There are always uncertainties in a new partnership however it is important to get started."

5- What are the challenges in your sector of activity today?

 

"The main challenges in our business are the everyday challenges faced by any startup or small company. 

As far as NH TherAguix is concerned, we are not commercialising any drugs at the moment. Our main challenge is to successfully raise funds to continue our business and achieve the goals we set for ourselves, and that means getting results with our clinical trials."

6- How would you describe the work done by CyberSecura? 

 

"I would say that we are close to our clients through the missions we carry out, that we are tailor-made in terms of compliance needs and follow-up, and that we have a smooth flow of exchanges. This collaboration was set up through gradual, progressive work in order to gain compliance in a sustainable manner."

7- What do you think are the results of this collaboration?

 

"At the start, an audit was carried out and actions were implemented. Subsequently, follow-up was carried out in a close manner, particularly with reporting."

8- What did you like most about the solution provided by CyberSecura?

 

"This service is a true global handling of the GDPR aspect. We also appreciated the flexibility of your teams and the expert advice provided on a daily basis in the context of our activities. When we have a question or a difficulty we know that we can call on your teams. We have therefore decided to renew this collaboration for another year."

9- What advice would you give to companies facing the same challenge / having the same project as you?

​

"I think the most important thing, whatever the sector of activity, is to properly identify the needs, the risks, and to put in place the necessary actions and approach to achieve this."

"I would recommend CyberSecura to any company with a similar problem to ours."
